EVS buys and sells used trucks and trailers at serious volume, for UK buyers and for export markets. Every vehicle carries paperwork, pricing in multiple currencies, marketplace listings and a pipeline of enquiries that the team has to keep moving.
The challenge
A stock operation this size lives or dies on admin. Every vehicle needed its details keyed in, photographed, listed separately on each marketplace, priced for UK and export buyers, and re-edited on every platform whenever anything changed.
Quotes, proforma invoices and sales paperwork were produced by hand, and keeping track of who was owed a follow-up lived in people's heads.
The solution
One platform, designed around the operation.
We built a single platform around the vehicle record. Registration lookups pull vehicle data straight from the DVLA, so a truck enters stock from its number plate. From there, listings publish automatically to Auto Trader, Truck Locator, Commercial Motors and eBay, and stay in sync when the record changes.
Export pricing uses live currency exchange rates. Proforma and sales invoices generate as PDFs from the record. Built-in reminders keep follow-ups and paperwork on schedule, and Mailchimp integration puts the customer base to work for campaigns.
