The client
TradeSkills delivers electrical training online and in the classroom, from entry-level courses to professional qualifications, and is now expanding into other trades. Enquiries, quotes, bookings and course administration are the engine of the business.
The challenge
The original system, which we designed and built more than ten years ago, had served the business well for over a decade. But the business had outgrown it: every action meant a page reload, and a growing volume of enquiries arriving through government training portals had to be processed by hand.
Working manually, each member of staff could get through six or seven enquiries a day. The constraint on growth wasn't demand. It was throughput.
The solution
One platform, designed around the operation.
Rather than patch a ten-year-old platform, we rebuilt it from the ground up on modern, real-time technology: no page reloads, no waiting, the whole operation live in front of the team as it changes.
AI now extracts enquiry data directly from government training portals, including the Department for Work and Pensions, and the platform generates quotes, PDFs, emails and Excel exports automatically. Customers, bookings and management reporting all live in the same system.
